This WIB Talk emphasized the importance of having and developing your own personal page/ website to showcase your accomplishments and creativity. The events started by introducing a brief icebreaker where participants shared some things they love/ enjoy doing. Next, we moved on to showcase how to build a resume/professional website and another one that showcases how to be creative and show anything you enjoy doing like a blog on arts/crafts/reading books/ traveling. Then we moved on to a brief intro tutorial on how to use Wix to create and personalize your own website by showing participants tips and tricks through a tutorial and stopping to answer any questions they might have. Finally we ended the talk by providing them with extra resources to further develop their website designing skills.
